Ocean Acidification buoy redeployed to southern Oregon coast

OA buoy previously NH-10 has been redeployed 6 nautical miles offshore of Coos Bay on the southern Oregon Coast, where it will be measuring pH and CO2.

OAP Director participates in United Nations Oceans Conference

OAP Director, Libby Jewett, will be participating in a side event focused on "Capacity Development Solutions for Managing, Protecting, Conserving and Restoring Marine and Coastal Ecosystems" during the United Nations Oceans conference for Sustainable Development Goal 14 to "conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development."

Redeployment of the Chá bă buoy

Chá bă one of the buoys that monitors ocean acidification in waters along US coasts was redeployed and will be taking carbon dioxide and pH measurements every 3 hours to better understand ocean acidification in Washington state waters.
