Florida Sea Grant is currently hiring two part-time U.S. Caribbean Coral Rescue Coordinators, one based remotely in the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the other based remotely in Puerto Rico.
Working in close collaboration with jurisdictional governments and partners in the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico, the Coordinators will bring together diverse coral partners and practitioners in the U.S. Caribbean to increase capacity for a regional approach to coral rescue. They will work together to facilitate the development of a detailed regional coral rescue plan to inform future restoration and rescue efforts and will support the development of a regional coral rescue network.
