NOAA’s Ocean Acidification Program, National Sea Grant, and Climate and Fisheries Adaptation Program announce the first webinar in a Climate Vulnerability webinar series on September 23 at 3:30pm ET. Climate vulnerability assessments examine the impact of changing ocean conditions on affected human communities. These projects, funded by the host NOAA programs, are often interdisciplinary and promote adaptation and resilience.
The webinar aims to promote awareness and share findings from projects addressing ocean and climate vulnerability by these three NOAA programs to NOAA program staff, internal and external climate and ocean acidification principal investigators, and interested members of the public from industry, resource management, restoration, and research.
This first webinar focuses on East Coast fisheries adaptation.
